This blog is about life; the big as well as the little things that come with life's ups and downs. I most enjoy writing about parenthood, marriage and home life as these are the things that are most important to me. I'm a stay-at-home mom and I try to do some writing on the side. My dream is to become a published author of novels (bestsellers, of course!) and I'd also love to write children's books. I collect early edition classic children's stories. One of my most prized possessions is a gorgeous edition of The Water Babies by Charles Kingsley dating back to the 1800's. I hope to cultivate a similar love of reading in my daughter, as books played such an important role in my life growing up. It's so much more than just a thirst for knowledge; it's making sense of the world around us as well as exploring other worlds, cultivating imagination and a sense of wonder and adventure. Writing is what creates all of this magic.
